For there is always light, if only we’re brave enough to see it. If only we’re brave enough to be it.Amanda Gorman
There’s a stigma I carry. A conditioning. A voice that says that standing in your light is self-centered, that it’s bad to brag.
Good merchandise should speak for itself.
But it doesn’t speak. It doesn’t serve unless noticed and pulled into the light.
As much as we may not like the darkness, we can be comfortable in the dark. In the dark nobody finds you unless they are seeking. Nobody notices unless they are looking. It’s safe. There is no responsibility to others. In the dark you can do no harm.
So stepping into and standing in the light, in our light, requires bravery. It requires courage.
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.Marianne Williamson
This is the calling of today’s Full Moon in Leo. Be brave enough to see the light. Be brave enough to be the light.
