Once a year, Jupiter and Venus come together at the same point in the sky. Astronomically, it’s a visually stunning — something we can see in the evening with the naked eye from Earth.
This year, for the second year in a row, Venus and Jupiter unite in the sign of Cancer (June 9, 3:55 pm ET, 25º46’).
The two planets are knowns as the benefics:
Venus is the planet of relationships, love, money, union, sweetness, art, and beauty. Jupiter is the planet of expansion, abundance, wisdom, and luck.
Cancer is a place of growth, nurturing, and care. It’s the water of incubation and gestation, a place of healing, hope, and home.
Astrologically, this is always one of the sweetest moments of the year, although it can be over-hyped by pop astrology.
Conjunctions mark both an ending and a beginning. This marks both the end of a cycle that started in August 2025 and the start of a new cycle.
Jupiter and Venus together can bring optimism, trust, and generosity. In Cancer, it can be a signal of abundant care and giving.
That said, sometimes Venus and Jupiter together can be “too much.”
In Cancer, this can show up as too many emotions, or giving too much care to others without receiving that energy back in return.
This conjunction is a square to Chiron in Aries, which could show up as feeling the friction between how much you give to others while not feeling reciprocated. What happens when others don’t match your level of giving or support?
Sometimes the support is offered to us but we don’t feel supported because we don’t open to receive it, or don’t have the capacity to receive it.
Are you able to receive the support offered by others?
Jupiter and Venus in Cancer can show us where we need to expand our capacity to receive abundance, support, and care.
Pay attention to what arises over the few days surrounding this conjunction. Mercury will soon station retrograde in Cancer around the same degree, which will invite us to recall and speak about whatever initiated here.
Love it? Hate it? What do you think? Don't hold back...
