I’ve finally reached the age where my natural genetics isn’t enough to offset my habitual sweet tooth and my love for all things cookies and brownies.
So when the CrossFit gym where I train announced an 8-week “total transformation challenge” I jumped on board.
It’s got me re-evaluating my eating habits and tracking my macros.
Logging my food every day is helpful to see what I’m eating and how it impacts my energy, but I know that this type of micro-management won’t be sustainable.
If I want to change my eating habits to better align with my goals for health and productivity, there’s only one way to change it:
Change my identity.
No matter what area of life you want to change, all lasting change flows from a change in identity.
Habits, mindsets, beliefs, stories and behavior all flow from identity: how you see yourself.
Seeing yourself in a new light changes your relationship with the behaviors you want to change.
Love it? Hate it? What do you think? Don't hold back...
