The Most Productive Place

The beach is the perfect place. It’s the place where all elements come together in a divine show of unity and collaboration.

Earth
Air
Fire
Water

Earth. The roots of stability and certainty; our grounding agent. The structure that holds us.

Air. The winds of change. The breath of our inspiration. Our intellect. The whispers of consciousness that blow through us.

Fire. Passion, drive and willpower. The agent of transformation.

Water. Emotions, intuition, and creativity. Flow. The innate wisdom to navigate around any obstacle.

What lies beyond the horizon line?
What lurks in the depth of its waters?
How does it all work to create this magical place?

After you sit with it for a while, you come to know it, to discover that beneath the mystery is profound simplicity.

The beach is a place anchored by rhythms, routines, and rituals.

The moon and the sun in their eternal rotations, bringing light and dark. The ebb and flow of the tides.

Earth providing structure, holding the vast sea.

Wind, moving the water in wave after wave of breath.

Sun, creating warmth, nourishing the water and the life beneath the waves.

Water, lapping onto the earth, releasing what it no longer needs, receiving what awaits it on the banks of the shore and sweeping it out into its vastness, in an endless cycle of giving and receiving.

The elements work together in divine harmony. Each does its part — no more, no less.

Structure. Flow.
Passion. Inspiration.
Will. Ease.
Effort. Surrender.
Motion. Stillness.

At times turbulent and at times calm, always perfectly attuned to the moment.

Everything gets done. There is always enough time.

If you’re looking for a model of productivity that will stand the test of time, check out the divine orchestration that plays out at the beach.

It’s the most productive place on earth.
