There’s something magical about watching the sun disappear behind the horizon line of the ocean.
But sometimes you can’t see it because it’s obscured by clouds. If the cloud cover is complete, there’s no show. But it the sky is partially cloudy, go watch the sunset if you can. You’ll be treated to an even more extraordinary display of mother nature at her finest.
The clouds add texture. They give the light something to play with as it slowly descends toward the horizon line. And once the sun has sunk below the ocean, the real beauty kicks in.
The sun need not be shining high up in the sky, unadorned, for it to work its magic. Its light reflects in the clouds, bringing even more color to the evening sky.
If you want a colorful sky, you need more than sun. You need the clouds too.
As above, so below. As in the sky, so too in our lives.
Clouds will come; it’s inevitable. Instead of resisting them, perhaps you can appreciate the way they play with your light to bring more color and beauty into your life.
Love it? Hate it? What do you think? Don't hold back...
