Freedom is one of the biggest themes of the Passover holiday. In fact, one of the alternate names of Passover is “Holiday of the Free.”
One of the primary commandments of Passover is that every generation should view itself as if it had personally been liberated from Egypt.
At the Seder, we don’t just retell the story of the Exodus; we re-enact it through ritual in order to experience firsthand the journey from the bitterness of bondage to the flourishing of freedom.
The exploration of freedom and what it means for us collectively and individually is a topic that resonates far beyond the Passover seder table.
Over the years, I’ve written many essays exploring these themes as they relate to the modern life of an entrepreneur and creative.
