What is the most important part of the learning process?
It’s not the intake of information.
It’s not how you take notes.
It’s not even the implementation of what you learned.
You cannot implement the information until you’ve integrated it. You must first process it.
Until you integrate the information, it is like water pooling on the surface.
This integration happens at rest, and most crucially when you sleep. When your conscious mind shuts down and your brain can do its job of sorting and filtering.
Learning new things can be exhausting, and this is why. Your body and brain make you tired to help you sleep so you can process what you’re learning and be able to implement it.
Love it? Hate it? What do you think? Don't hold back...
