Are you in a time famine? Do you catch yourself saying things like
- I don’t have time.
- There’s not enough time.
- Time’s running out.
- I’m too busy.
We are often fed lies about time. That it’s limited and scarce. It’s running out. We don’t have enough.
Believing these lies is damaging. It creates unnecessary distress and sends our bodies into the fight or flight mode as we get ready to race against time.
In the U.S., this is a holiday weekend; the end of summer. We are heading into a new moon — a time for slowing down. And it’s all coinciding with Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year.
All signs are telling us to slow down.
This is a prime opportunity to change your relationship with time.
When I find myself saying things like “I don’t have enough time.” I immediate overwrite those words with a simple language shift:
There’s plenty of time.
You have all the time you need.
open to what’s here
be present to this moment
there’s plenty of time
Love it? Hate it? What do you think? Don't hold back...
