How do you use your voice?
When you think about this question, do you think about the ways in which you’ve spoken up on behalf of yourself or others?
The way you’ve called out injustice where you’ve seen it, or brought awareness to some hidden facet of life?
When you consider the idea of “using your voice” do you think about the ways you’ve shared your ideas?
All of these are examples of how we can use our voices.
Here’s another that’s less-often considered: staying silent.
Sometimes the best way for us to use our voice is not to use it at all. Instead, we can engage in active listening. We can use our presence to hold space for others to be heard.
In a noisy world, it’s often the silence that gets most noticed.
Love it? Hate it? What do you think? Don't hold back...
