ride waves of sound
to a world beyond your mind
surrender to flow
My mind is often like a high-speed runaway train: constantly churning as it barrels along, unaware of what lays in its path and the destruction it might cause.
There’s no off switch. And sometimes I feel like its hostage. I fantasize about how I can escape.
I picture myself standing at the threshold of an open rail car, the scenery whizzing by in a blur, as I muster the courage to take the leap to the passing fields.
You can keep churning your motor, but I’m not coming along for the ride. I’m outta here.
Of course, in real life, that’s not possible. I may not be my mind or my thoughts, but I live in the body that’s attached to them. We are all in this together — this mind, this body, and this spirit that come together in the being that is me.
Thankfully I don’t have to take such drastic measures.
I’ve found safer ways to escape the confines of the mind and its web of spinning thoughts.
One of those methods is sound healing.
Ever since I first experienced sound healing — during my healing journey in California in 2019 — I’ve been hooked.
A sound healing is like a journey out of my mind. I go to this other world that I can’t describe and don’t remember once I return. But while I am there, it is bliss.
This other world beyond my mind is a place where I can be awake and aware without churning in thought. I can surrender to the flow of the waves.
Instead of tumbling through the weeds I am flying.
Soaring above the clouds, I am no longer a hostage on the runaway train.
Love it? Hate it? What do you think? Don't hold back...
