Capricorn full moon
illuminates the structures
supporting your dreams
Every dream needs to be supported by a foundation and structures.
Without the framework, systems, and support in place, what we envision cannot manifest into form in a way that is sustainable.
What we achieve through taking shortcuts doesn’t endure.
This type of work often isn’t sexy. It’s often not visible to outsiders.
Capricorn is symbolized by the persistent and steady Sea Goat and ruled by Saturn, the planet that governs time, limits, and boundaries.
On the personal level, that means showing up daily for what’s important. For example, creating a strong body requires daily efforts to work on mobilization, strengthen, stabilization, and flexibility, as well as daily attention to your nutrition.
Anything we want to create and grow— whether a business, a body of work, a book, a child, or other project — requires enduring effort. It requires determination and dedication, planning and persistence, structures and support.
Our culture tends to focus on instant results. This is misleading and harmful messaging.
Life isn’t a 30-day challenge.
The results that matter happen by putting in the work over the long arc of time.
The full moon in Capricorn invites us to check in with the foundation underlying our big dreams and visions and to shore up the structures and support we need to create what will endure.
Full moons represent a culmination point. Each full moon invites us to look back at the intentions we set at the new moon in the same sign. The Capricorn full moon is always potent because it falls at approximately mid-year in the Gregorian calendar, so it fits with the practice of a mid-year review.
Now is a good time to check in with your vision and assess where you need to create a stronger foundation.
- What structures do you need to have in place to make your project sustainable?
- What support do you require to bring this vision into form?
- What type of schedule will best support your energy to create what you envision?
This full moon is conjunct Pluto, the planet of transformation. All creation entails destruction.
There’s no way around this fact of life.
To bring something into being, something else must be released.
It’s a good time to check your commitments and release any that are not aligned with what you want to create.
- What do you need to release to clear space in your schedule for what you most want to create?
- Where do you need to create stronger boundaries by saying NO?
- What identities do you need to release to create the next level of your evolution?
The more we hold, the less bandwidth we have to create what’s new.
Love it? Hate it? What do you think? Don't hold back...
