Like many women with ADHD, I often feel like I’m living life on “hard mode.” I often wish for the ease I see in my peers. The ability to show up and get things done without the heavy starting costs or the dozens of tiny distractions or the exhausting efforting.
The question is: if given the easy path, would I even know how to take it?
That’s the opportunity that presents itself when Venus forms a trine to Jupiter (February 22, 2026, 3:02 PM ET).
The Magic of Venus Trine Jupiter
Venus is the planet of love, relationships, money, art, beauty, pleasure. It imbues life with sweetness.
Jupiter is the planet of expansion, blessings, abundance, and wisdom.
These planets are known as the “benefics.” Any aspect between them is generally viewed as positive, but none moreso than the trine — a 120º triangle that is formed between planets in signs of the same element.
Trines bring harmony, flow, and ease — no matter which planets are involved.
So it should go without saying that Venus trine Jupiter — the two benefics of the zodiac meeting up in the best possible alignment — is about as good as it gets.
This isn’t rare; it happens at least once a year.
But this year’s Venus/Jupiter trine is actually extra special, and relatively rare. That’s because Venus is in Pisces and Jupiter is in Cancer, which puts both planets in the signs of their exaltation — the place where they are at their very best.
Venus transits through Pisces once a year, but Jupiter has a 12 year cycle, so this particular iteration of Venus trine Jupiter is not so frequent. The last time we had Venus in Pisces trine Jupiter in Cancer was in 2014.
So if your social media feeds are buzzing with all the hype about the Venus/Jupiter trine, this is why. Objectively speaking, this is the best aspect of the year.
It doesn’t get better than this.
But that doesn’t mean it’s going to feel like sunshine and rainbows.
Venus trine Jupiter can help us shift out of our doom and gloom by showing us the bright spots. It can lighten your load, and imbue your day with ease and flow.
If you let it.
For some of us, that’s the catch.
The Challenge of Venus Trine Jupiter
To be honest, Venus/Jupiter aspects tend to leave me feeling disappointed because I don’t always feel the ease. When I do feel it, I don’t always trust it.
Maybe that’s because I’m so acclimated to living life on hard mode.
Navigating obstacles and pushing harder is my default operating mode.
When you’re used to living life on hard mode, easy is uncomfortable and disorienting.
Ease feels like something’s wrong.
Ease feels like you must have skipped a step.
Ease feels like you cheated or you’re an imposter.
In a culture that tells us we must earn our status, ease can feel like “you didn’t earn it.”
How to Work With Venus Trine Jupiter
Every week, I give a weekly astrology breakdown to a private group. They always ask me how to work with the transiting aspects.
But with Venus trine Jupiter, there’s no “work” to do — at least not in the traditional sense.
Unlike a sextile, which requires us to make some effort to “unlock” the good energy of the planets, trines just flow.
There’s nothing to do, nothing to work for. Nothing you need to “work with.”
Trines are about receiving what is already here.
If you’re used to living on hard mode. embracing this ease can be unsettling.
For me — and maybe for you — this is the “work” of Venus trine Jupiter.
It’s the “work” of not working so hard.
It’s the “work” of not pushing through.
Venus trine Jupiter is an invitation to surrender, to sit back and watch, to allow things to unfold, and to find ease in your flow.
This requires trust, faith, and belief that ease is possible.
Not just “possible.”
Acceptable. Allowed.
If you’ve been living life on hard mode, think of Venus trine Jupiter as your reminder that the easy way is also a viable option.
Love it? Hate it? What do you think? Don't hold back...
