Some days, it feels like everything is a crisis. You wake up feeling behind, you have looming hard deadlines, and you’re wondering how it’s all going to get done.
Years ago, I read advice from VC investor Paul Graham, which I’ve seen repeated by Tim Ferriss and others:
Make before you manage.
Even on those intense days, I make time to fit in a workout first — not necessarily a long one, but I do something to move my body.
Even on those intense days, I do my best to write something. Maybe not the best thing I’ve ever written or published, but something to contribute to the world.
Just to remind myself that, above all else, I’m a human being first.
Love it? Hate it? What do you think? Don't hold back...
