Mars/Uranus Square: Embrace Your Inner Rebel

March 22, 2022 | Renée Fishman

Mars square Uranus
embrace your inner rebel
break free of constraints

The moment I was pulled out of the womb by my feet was a sign that I wasn’t going to go through this life following the typical conventions.

A breech baby.

I came into this world doing my own thing.

Disruptive. Dangerous. Difficult.

Maybe that’s why I seem to have an affinity for challenging situations, the hard way, the disruptions, the chaos. I like it, even if I don’t always enjoy it.

Sometimes it feels good to create some chaos and foster some disruption.

Have you ever just wanted to stick it to the establishment and do our own thing?

Today might be one of those days, as Mars and Uranus form a square — a 90-degree aspect known for creating conflict and friction.

Mars is the warrior, the firey hot planet that represents our drive to action.

Uranus is the planet of innovation and breakthroughs.

When these two come into friction it invites us to look at how we disrupt and handle disruption.

Disruption can be frustrating, and also a great teacher. It forces us to question our beliefs, reassess our priorities, and to clarify our boundaries.

What happens to your drive and willpower when you are disrupted?

Do you resist and try to power through?

Do you surrender?

Do you adapt and innovate?

Mars is in Aquarius, a sign of progressives, innovators, and intellectuals that values boundaries.

Uranus is in stable, grounded, and stubborn Taurus.

This disruption may reveal where we need to break free of unseen constraints to break our own ground.

Message of the Mars/Uranus Square

I listened closely for a message and here is what I received:

You need not live in the narrow confines of other people’s limiting beliefs and expectations.

Rewrite the rules. Reinvent the game. Recreate yourself.

Let yourself be seen. Witnessed, in your totality.

Embrace the audacity of yourself.
