It’s time to listen deeply to your body, emotions, and intuition, as the full moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces (September 7, 2:08 PM ET, 15º22’ Pisces) is likely to illuminate something latent that has been building under the surface and lead to a major ending or beginning — or both.
This is the third chapter in a story that began with the September 2024 lunar eclipse in Pisces and continued with the March 2025 eclipse in Virgo. It’s a story that is tying together two areas in your life that fall on the Pisces/Virgo axis.
Full Moon in Pisces
On first glance, this Pisces Full Moon looks like a lush and lustful full moon. It is in a set-up that is similar to last year’s Pisces Full Moon, but arguably better.
The Moon in Pisces is ruled by Jupiter, which is known as the “greater benefic”: it brings expansion, growth, and blessings to everything it touches.
In 2024, Jupiter ruled the Pisces Full Moon from Gemini, where it was in its detriment. Now, Jupiter is in Cancer, where it is exalted. It can do its very best here, and brings a quality of nurturing and care to this sensitizing lunation.
The position of Jupiter in Cancer also puts Jupiter in the Moon’s home sign. That means the Moon and Jupiter are in a condition called “mutual reception,” — a situation where each is in the other’s house. This gives them both good resourcing.
At the time of the Full Moon, both the Moon and the Sun in Virgo are approaching supportive and harmonious aspects with Jupiter.
At the same time, Jupiter is in a harmonious aspect with the North Node — the point that signifies eclipses. The North Node is a point of increase and desire.
This can feel like big dreams and vision that you want to manifest. It’s expansive and dreamy.
So, by all means, dream. But also: prepare for disruption and be ready to let something go.
Total Lunar Eclipse
The Nodes are the points at which the Moon’s orbit crosses the Sun ecliptic. The proximity of the Moon to the North Node is what makes this Full Moon a total Lunar Eclipse. That changes the game.
Eclipses are times of unstable power: the main light in the sky is blotted out. They often mark times of potent beginnings and endings, even if we can’t see it in the moment. Eclipses can mark major turning points or “fated” moments.
When the main light in the sky goes out, we see things we normally can’t see.
Something latent has been building in a part of your life, and this eclipse will uncover it — but you have to be willing to look at what is revealed.
Disruptive Influences
An eclipse can be disruptive on its own, but this one has a few more tricks up its sleeve.
First, Jupiter is still in a tight square with Mars, which means we’re still in a place of friction regarding our desires to expand.
In addition, Uranus just stationed retrograde in Gemini on September 6. It’s at a standstill — pulling focus to its nature to surprise and disrupt. Uranus can bring a flash of lightening, and eclipses are like a power surge. When you combine these, it can result in significant disruption and damage.
Case in point: my weekend involved a sudden flat tire and a lightening storm that took out the phone lines in my house.
How to “Work” With the Eclipse
The best thing you can do in an eclipse is to lay low and listen.

You don’t need to figure out what’s beginning or ending, or what to do next.
Pisces, above all else, is a sign where we learn to cultivate faith and trust.
The answers you’re seeking are within you; allow them to come forward in their own time.
Remember, we are only in the early chapters of this story.
Love it? Hate it? What do you think? Don't hold back...
